After a good dose of caffeine, we decided to make our way to Haji Lane – a beautiful street lined with colorfully painted townhouses, tucked away behind the busy Arab Street. We can always rely on Haji lane to offer us a refreshing and eclectic mix of clothing and accessories, especially if you’re bored of all the malls in Singapore. *note: wear comfy clothes and bring a bottle of water because it can get hot hot hot!
One shop particularly caught our attention, Zhai Eco Collection, notably because of its distinct signage that reads ‘bamboo clothing’. To satisfy our curiosity, we decided to go in and check it out. (confession: we ended up being there for two hours!)

We met one of the lovely co-founders, Kim (an Aussie!), who explained that they wanted to create an environmentally friendly clothing line that was fashionable and affordable! Bamboo is not only a sustainable resource, the clothing is ultra soft on the skin, hypoallergenic and even odour resistant!

Natasha loved this simple black dress, which is knee length. So versatile – you can easily wear this from office to dinner! The stunning accessories are also created by Zhai and are “one-of-a-kind” pieces!
We would be very surprised if you could walk in and out of Zhai without purchasing something! Both of us ended up with purchases that we absolutely love!
