Things are chirpy at Nana & Bird’s new venture, two.o.ri

When we received an invitation to attend Nana & Bird’s new shop, two.o.ri, it did not take long for us to say “Yes!!”. How can we not? After our previous blogpost on Nana & Bird and their gorgeous fashion pieces, we cannot wait to meet the two genius ladies with excellent taste in fashion. The name two.o.ri signifies the history and personality of nana & Bird, two connotes two groups of people coming together, while the ‘ri’ is French for having a good laugh. Sounds just like Carmen and Natasha!

Two.o.ri is located diagonally across Fleas and Trees, remember that cute shop that we blogged about a few months back? So now there’s even more reasons to check out Seng Poh Lane!

Georgina and Chiew Ling, the forces behind Nana &  Bird. Never underestimate the power of two women with a passion in fashion!

Natasha and Carmen were ecstatic to be invited to the opening of two.o.ri. Natasha is wearing shirt and pants from The Editor’s Market, clutch by Kate Spade and Louboutin heels. Carmen is wearing a dress from Diane von Furstenberg, clutch by Shanghai Tang and Charles and Keith heels.

The clothes are gorgeous! The store concept is quite different compared to the other outlet. Two.o.ri has more lifestyle feel to it and has so many bits and pieces to look at for both men and women! If you’re like Carmen and Natasha who get easily distracted, rest assured you will be distracted every two seconds, maybe less, in this shop.

The floral dress hanging on the rack caught Natasha’s attention and check out what it looks like when Carmen tried it on in our next blog post!

Two.o.ri displays an amazing array of jewelry, from classic and simple, to quirky and funky and everything else in between.

Natasha is liking this cupcake ring! It’s very Alannah Hill, the famous Aussie designer whose creation is always so feminine, playful and whimsical.

This particular sustainable collection is by the British jewelry designer Emma Ware. Her jewelry is made of bicycle tyre, although the prices are a tad bit on the steep side, the quality of each piece is quite amazing!

Cufflinks for the signifiant other – and there’s lots of it in this shop. It’s Christmas soon ladies, and this shop has many goodies and ideas for your man.

This cup is so cute for your cuppa! The happy looking faces can’t help but make you go ‘Awwww…’ every time you look at it. Awww….. 🙂

Feeling anti-social in the office? Put this signage up and pile up a few papers and mess it up slightly to make you look more convincing. Not that we tried it or anything. Okay fine, maybe we did….

There is something super cute about this planner, maybe it’s the illustration, or maybe it’s the fact that the face says “hello, I’m Mr Bubba”. Either way, we like it.

This tote bag comes in different colors, hello, blue orange and red all equally cute. It would make the perfect beach or picnic bag.

Carmen and Natasha have a HUGE crush on this bag. HUGE! The taupe and maroon color, not to mention how beautiful the leather is, makes us want to yell out “this one is coming home with us thank you very much!”. There are three ways to carry this bag and as we’re typing this we wonder “remind me why didn’t we buy this bag again???”

The overall verdict on two.o.ri is if it was an major assignment, we would give it a High Distinction! Watch out for our next blog to see what the clothes looked like when we tried it on.
