Give your nails a holiday at Think Pink!

So you’re in Bali for a tropical paradise getaway. Lets go through the essentials. Nice tan? Check. Daily dose of massage? Check. Suitcase full of new clothes from all the ‘window shopping’. Check. Until you look down at your nails and toenails and realize they look like a dilapidated wallpaper.

Well fret not, just think pink. Think Pink Nails, that is, on Jalan Batu Belig – a stone throw away from Jalan Oberoi where Ku de ta is located. Think Pink is Bali’s first and only Manhattan style nail salon and being a big fan on the color pink, Natasha decided to walk in and prepared to be dazzled. And she sure was! Firstly, look out for the gigantic billboard (in pink of course), you can’t miss it. No, really, you CAN’T miss it. (see below!)

The first think you notice is nail polish. About a gazillion million of them neatly lined up at the nail bar. Think Pink is quite boastful about their collection, and rightly so we’d say. The usual suspects were there, OPI, China Glaze, but wait there’s more! There’s also Chanel, Laura Mercier, Tom Ford, YSL, NARS, Zoya, Butter London, and Illamasqua. Ah yes, Natasha died and went to nail polish heaven!

Pricewise, a bit steep for Bali, but heck who cares you’re on holiday! And considering they only use the best quality equipment, plus a massage chair, you definitely don’t hear Carmen and Natasha complaining.

All the therapists were very friendly – come to think of it, we have not really met any Balinese who isn’t – and they let you take your time to choose a nail color. Be mindful though, they only hold your booking for fifteen minutes before they give up your slot to someone else!

Natasha couldn’t decide on one color, so she decided to do two colors instead.

Just when you thought it doesn’t get any better, they give you a cotton sling bag as a souvenir. Ah yes, Think Pink sure knows how to win a girl’s pink heart. 🙂
