iROO is one of those brands where it is fun to walk into the store, but then you try to work out how much of their collection is actually wearable and what should be considered… well let’s just call it “art”.
So we decided to venture in this time to find out what was currently in stores right now…
This piece above is actually pretty cool, but then again we can’t really see ourselves walking down the street without either knocking someone out with those serious ruffles or just getting stared at for being a sad wannabe Carrie Bradshaw from SATC.
Jury’s out on this green dress above too. It looks cute on the rack and totally in love with the colour, but as soon as you put it on you can’t help but feel the shapeless sack just doesn’t suit everyone….
You will probably either love or hate this outfit above. The “skort” was actually super comfortable and from memory not expensive at all. We liked the top too and could imagine it would look great paired with white jeans. Very aztec inspired.
The fun canary yellow print dress above was Carmen’s favourite. Super chirpy and fun for Singapore – we could imagine teaming this with a white belt to cinch in the waist and could definitely imagine this in our closets.
Ah yes, our favourite yellow dress pops up in the photo above again – we can’t fault the layout of the iROO store which feels crisp and clean and very easy to browse. The service was also very attentive (in a good way) and they help you adjust your clothes after you have tried them on (this was at the Great World City store).
Overall, it’s definitely worth popping in to have a look – there are some gems and we can’t help but think that this store really has something for everyone (which is why we don’t love everything, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing!).
Carmen & Natasha visited the iRoo store at Great World City. There are other stores in Singapore at MBS and Vivocity.
